弟兄姊妹們，我奉我們的主耶穌基督的名勸你們大家，說話要一致，不可分裂，要團結，有一致的想法，有共同的目標。（歌林多前書1 Corinthians 1:10）現中

1.對________要有恰當的認識

18人不可自欺。要是你們中間有人按照世人的標準自以為有智慧，他倒應該成為愚 拙，好成為真有智慧的。19 因為這世界所認為有智慧的，在上帝眼中卻是愚拙的。正像聖經所說：「上 帝使智慧的人中了自己的詭計。」（歌林多前書1 Corinthians 3:18-19）現中 
胸無一策而自以為聰明的人，連最愚蠢的人也勝過他。（箴言26:12）現中 

2.對________要有正確的了解

20另一處經文說：「主知道智慧者的思想不過是一種妄想。」21所以，無論誰都不應該誇耀人所能做到的事。其實，一切都是你們的：22保羅、亞波羅、彼得、這個世界、生或死、現在或將來，這一切全是你們的；23你們卻是基督的，而基督是上帝的。（歌林多前書1 Corinthians 3:20-23）現中 

3.對________要有加倍的尊重 

1你們應該把我們看作是基督的僕人，受命作上帝之奧祕的管家。2主人對管家所要求的就是忠心。（歌林多前書1 Corinthians 4:1-2）現中 

那些善於治理教會的長老，尤其是那些在講道和教導工作上 勞苦的長老，應當看為配得加倍的尊重。（提摩太前書5:17）新漢 

4.對________要有終審的確認 

3我被你們，或任何人評斷，都認為是一件小事；我自己並不評斷自己。4我覺得自己良心清白，但不能因此證明我沒有罪。惟有主才是審斷我的。5所以，時機還沒有到的時候，你們不要評斷任何人。要等到主再來的時候才有最後的審判；那時候，他 要暴露藏在黑暗中的祕密，揭發人心裏的動機。那時候，每一個人會從上帝得到應得的稱讚。（歌林多前書1 Corinthians 4:3-5）現中

Hey guys,

How’s everyone? Hope everyone is doing well so far this week. This friday we’ll continue to have our regular cell group gathering at Joe’s place:

Date: 8/13 Friday
Place: Joe’s residence (9585 Vista Tercera, San Diego, CA 92129)
Time: 7:30pm (dinner – potluck style)
8:30-10pm (4W – "I want to see")

"I want to see"? Don’t know what it means? No worries, you’ll find out. It’d be a good discussion which you will take away something with.

As noted, dinner is potluck style so please bring your favorite dish =). Please reply all with what you’re planning to bring so no one brings the same thing =P.

As you know, our church is going to have an inauguration ceremony on 7/24/2010 (Sat). It’s not only one day ceremony but also a new milestone for all of us.
In the Bible, it mentions the power of praying.  This week, we will put it in practice.  This week, we will practice the lesson of praying and fasting.  In 使徒行傳
14:22    堅固門徒的心、勸他們恆守所信的道．又說、我們進入　神的國、必須經歷許多艱難。
14:23    二人在各教會中選立了長老、又禁食禱告、就把他們交託所信的主。

Fasting prayer is an action to show our urgency to pray. It’s completely voluntary. We decide to have a dinner fasting on this Friday (7/23) to pray for the next day
MMCBC inauguration ceremony and the future direction of MMCBC. We recommend you to eat lunch or snack ahead of time. Dinner will be skipped and do not
eat till the next day morning.

Although some people might not be able fasting, you are welcomed and encouraged to join the prayer meeting with us. Look forward to seeing you.

Venue: Church Building D (The room that we used to hold our morning Worship)
Time: 7:30pm – 8:30pm
